Club 3 meets every Wednesday at 7.25am for a 7.30 start in the Bishop Hay building next to St Davids Cathedral, Hobart, with a lively program already circulated to members. Visitors are welcome. You can get ready for many occasions from Christmas speeches to job interviews. Look up Rostrum's website for more information about Club 3 and other clubs in Tasmania. www.rostrum.com.au/tas Usually a lively group of 10-15 people, with an agenda to meet many different speaking situations, join Club 3 for an enjoyable early start to the day, with some constructive public speaking and meeting management training. Our ethos is that we learn by ‘doing’ in a friendly environment. You don't need to bring anything, but a pen and paper are handy if you wish to take notes. We meet at the Bishop Hay Centre at 121 Macquarie St (behind St David’s Cathedral) at 7:25 am and we finish at 8:25 am sharp.

Ever watched Crazy Rich Asians and wondered what is going on? Don't worry, the Brisbane Mahjong Club can offer you an absolutely beginner-friendly tutorial. We can offer you a step-by-step guide on how to play. By the end of the night, you will know how to play. Cost: $30 pp. This includes all follow-up sessions to help polish your skills and learn Hong Kong mahjong scoring. Also includes one free seasonal pass to play in the Hong Kong mahjong rankings. **\*Quarterly Leadership Rankings\*** Players can participate in our leadership boards for each division of Mahjong style (Hong Kong, Japanese, Taiwanese) spanning over 3 month periods. Top 4 players of the season will qualify for the Final Showdown at the end of each quarter. Toastmasters is about holding a safe space for you to start your public speaking conversations. That is all they are ... Public Conversations to share with others. If you want to share humour, a personal story or let your work colleagues know your thoughts (nice ones please) then Toastmasters can help you express it. We have been told that we are the friendliest Toastmasters club on the coast and we intend to keep that title so come along and find out for yourself. It's never too late to increase your personal growth physically by standing in front of an audience, mentally by creating well structured speeches and emotionally by sharing your stories.
