Canberra Ainslie (ACT) Toastmasters is open to all visitors. We usually meet fortnightly Tuesday at the Ainslie Football and Social Club, Wakefield Avenue, Ainslie (inner north Canberra) in person. The meetings are from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Visitors and guests are always welcome. Dinner and drinks available. If you are looking to: * improve your public speaking in a safe and supportive way; * practice speaking off the cuff; * making friends in person; * a free event (for visitors); * above all having some fun; then you've come to the right place. Canberra Ainslie (ACT) Toastmasters is a mix of ages and nationalities, experienced and new toastmasters - you always have lots of opportunities to practice speaking. Through a mixture of prepared and off-the-cuff speaking opportunities, combined with positive evaluations and suggestions for improvement, Canberra Ainslie (ACT) Toastmasters helps take the fear out of public speaking. Meet outside Brighton Baths for a 1 hour return walk towards Elwood. Then relax with a coffee and chat at the Brighton Yacht Club. Jane is away - please make welcome anyone new to our walk Parking is free if you have a Bayside beach parking sticker. Otherwise try your luck for 2hr free parking in Chelsea or Grosvenor streets.
