Seven Nights of 007: The World Is Not Enough (M) PRESENTED IN 35MM FILM

Seven Nights of 007: The World Is Not Enough (M, 1999) Presented in 35mm Film by The Revival House Perth in partnership with RAC When MI6 agent 009 is killed retrieving money stolen from oil tycoon Sir Robert King, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) escorts the recovered funds to London—only to witness King's assassination in a bombing at MI6 headquarters. M (Judi Dench) assigns Bond to protect King's daughter Elektra (Sophie Marceau), who has inherited a pipeline project in Azerbaijan and survived her own kidnapping by the terrorist Renard (Robert Carlyle). Renard, who has a bullet lodged in his brain that's slowly killing him while eliminating his ability to feel pain, is plotting to sabotage Elektra's pipeline. As Bond protects Elektra and investigates Renard's scheme with the help of nuclear physicist Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards), he discovers a conspiracy that strikes at the heart of MI6 itself. Bond must navigate deadly betrayals while stopping a nuclear catastrophe in the shadows of the former Soviet Union. Director Michael Apted brings a more character-driven approach to the Bond formula, exploring 007's vulnerability and the psychological cost of his missions. The 1999 film opens with a spectacular boat chase down the Thames and through the Millennium Dome construction site, setting the tone for ambitious action set pieces. Pierce Brosnan's third outing finds Bond emotionally compromised, while Sophie Marceau creates one of the franchise's most complex figures. Robert Carlyle brings quiet menace to Renard despite limited screen time. The film's willingness to make M complicit in the tragedy adds unexpected depth. David Arnold's score and the exotic locations—Baku, Istanbul, the Caspian Sea—provide classic Bond glamour. While Denise Richards' casting as a nuclear physicist stretches credibility, the film's emotional stakes and twisty plot make this an underrated entry. Original format and audio experience of this film faithfully reproduced by The Revival House. Presented in 35mm film unless noted otherwise. When: Sunday, June 21st at 7:00PM Where: The Revival House at the Como Theatre Rating: M (Low level violence) Brosnan's emotionally complex Bond faces betrayal and nuclear threat - experience this underrated entry in 35mm film. Presented by: The Revival House Perth and RAC

Northside Musicians Choir is teaming up with the most incredible Rowena Wise to bring you an incomparable experience at the Brunswick Ballroom. The Northside Musicians Choir, directed by Grace Robinson, is made up of 80 people from the local music and creative community — musicians, music lovers, artists, creatives, and people who can frikken sing. Together, they perform intricate five-part arrangements that move between pop, traditional folk, contemporary, and gospel, building something exciting, powerful, and deeply human. The evening will open with the choir's own set of focused repertoire, shaped in weekly rehearsals at APAX Warehouse in Preston — a space that has become home for this growing community. Then, Rowena Wise takes the stage, performing her incredible long-awaited new album solo, supported by the full force of the 80-piece choir, arranged by Grace Robinson. It is hard to explain what this many voices singing together feels like. This is not just a gig, but a shared experience that circles around community, voices, harmony, and perfect dissonance. The feeling you will experience in this beautiful ballroom is unexplainable; the only thing you can do is simply attend. Indoor Rock Climbing (Urban Climb Blackburn ) - First-time to Advanced

**Urban Climb Blackburn** Never climbed before? No worries at all! You're very welcome here! Just complete a quick safety induction when you arrive and the staff will walk you through everything you need to know to climb safely indoors. It's easy, friendly, and won't take long. The venue has plenty to enjoy, including a bouldering cave, speed wall, sauna facilities, and sparkling water to keep you going. This group is primarily focused on rope climbing, top roping and lead climbing, but if you'd prefer to stick to bouldering while you find your feet, that's absolutely fine too! Many of our members have their lead pass and gear, but there's no pressure at all. **Finding us:** If you arrive on time, look for us gathered around the couches in the bouldering area. We're a friendly bunch, so just come and say hi! Running a little late? No stress, just let the staff up the front know you're with the Climb Meetup group and they'll make an announcement. Someone will come and find you and introduce you around. A few of our regulars also wear a black shirt with the old logo, so keep an eye out for those. **A note on numbers:** The meetup runs every Monday and many regular members come along independently without RSVPing through the group, so the crowd is often bigger than it looks on the attendee list! If you're ever unsure whether people will be there or worried it might be a tiny group, feel free to drop the organisers a message beforehand and we'll put your mind at ease. **Fees:** Entry is paid directly to Urban Climb. You can find current pricing at [urbanclimb.com.au/pricing](https://urbanclimb.com.au/pricing/). If you hold a climbing membership elsewhere, it's worth checking your member benefits as you may be eligible for a discount. For venue info and the first-time waiver, visit [urbanclimb.com.au/locations/blackburn](https://urbanclimb.com.au/locations/blackburn/). **Stay connected:** We also have a facebook group [https://www.facebook.com/groups/663576119053808](https://www.facebook.com/groups/663576119053808) with a chat function; a great way to connect with members before or after a session!

FREE ENTRY | $20 CHICKEN & EGGPLANT PARMAS | $10 PINTS OF MOUNTAIN GOAT Kick those Monday blues to the curb at Social Sanctuary – your weekly night of free live music at NSC. We've lined up a stellar roster of your fave local artists and some exciting new talents breezing through town! This week Sol Hopkins, Adam Hattaway and Paper Daisies are stopping by for a show. On one hand Sol Hopkins is a scholar of classic pop music, crafting songs with a reverence for the Bacharachs, Webbs, and McCartneys of the past. On the other hand, he is a disciple of folky, Australianic, DIY jangle music. It’s where these two threads meet that the kaleidoscopic pop tapestry of Sol’s music is woven. His debut album will be released later this year on the back of singles 'Graduate' and 'The Horse'. Cutting deep with raw soul, grit, and rock ’n’ roll charm. Known for turning heartbreak into a howl, they’re dialing it down—but not backing off. This is live music with teeth, up close and personal. Adam Hattaway hails from Christchurch, New Zealand. Travelling Australia and NZ, sharing songs from his surprisingly extensive discography. Paper Daisies are an alt/dream folk band playing on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Land.
