With the whales coming north, the cliff faces are the perfect viewing point(s) in June. If you've come on our Macmasters Beach to Killcare Beach & **Hardy’s Hideaway Pub** it’s in a similar spirit. If you missed it? Here’s your second chance at a memorable session... **Cronulla Beach to Kurnell / Kamay Botany National Park to the site of Captain Cook’s Landing to… “Cook at Kurnell”** for food and drinks. It's a 14.86kms hike. Imagine this: *“Hey Davo. Grandpa died. He left us the beach property. Let’s put some booze and beer kegs into his VW van and make a service window. On this event we will do a relatively easy 25km ride through the hisoric villages of Lower Hunter. We will start in East Maitland and ride through historic Morpeth and Largs before taking the backroad into Paterson. From Paterson we can return back a slightly different way or we can get the 4.04PM train home from Paterson or Martins Creek. The plan is to arrive at Victoria Street Station at 10.30 AM on Sunday 21 June, If you are coming by train you just need to get the 7.21AM Central to Newcastle service and then change at Hamilton for the Telarah service which arrives at Victoria Street Station at 10.28AM. If you are coming by car just park on the western (New England Highway) side of Victoria Street Station. You can leave your extra luggage in your car or take it to my place which is just around the corner from Victoria Street Station. We will then commence our ride, firstly through Raworth and then along the cycling path into Morpeth where we may stop for a coffee. Afterwards we ride through Largs and Woodville and then along the quiet backroad into Paterson. We will have lunch at Paterson and then we have the option of riding back a slightly different way or riding a bit further into Vacy and Martins Creek and getting the train back to Victoria Street. **The ride.** We will be on quiet rural roads the whole way. All roads are bitumen. You will need to take about 750ml of water. Please also take a spare tube and a kit for replacing a tube if required. Toilet stops are available in Morpeth. The winter solstice marks a threshold moment. Whether you're still figuring out your direction or already deep in the work, this is a space to think out loud, talk through what you're working on, and walk alongside other women doing the same. Most women come on their own, so don’t worry if you’re joining solo, new faces are always welcome 🤍 📍 **Meeting Point:** **Barefoot on the Beach Cafe** The Barefoot on the Beach Cafe is about a 5–10 minute walk from Cronulla train station. We’ll meet here first, grab a coffee or snack if you like, then head off together along the Cronulla Esplanade, a beautiful coastal path with ocean views the whole way. If you can’t find us, just send us a message here on Meetup. We’ll keep an eye on it. ⏱️ **Meeting Time:** **2:00 PM** Try to get there a bit early if you can. **Let's play beginner/intermediate casual soccer at Tempe Reserve**; they have a variety of pitches and it's waiting for you to have a game there. **Meet at the grass area next to the synthetic field - that isn't a comp game**. There will be two games each around 40m wide. There's plenty of free carparking around, and it's also a \~15min walk from Wolli Creek Station. ***Please note***: \- We'll play from 3pm\. Sign up properly\, don't come if only waitlisted\, and arrive on time or not long after or you will have to wait before playing\. \- This group is for beginner and intermediate levels only and we play respectfully\. **If you're advanced, this is *not* the group for you**. Go find some other group to play with. \- Only come if well\. Bring plenty of fluids\, sunscreen\, sunglasses\, hat etc as appropriate\. \- Spread out amongst the 2 games\.
