Neurodivergent brains come with their own operating manuals — but most of us were never handed ours. Some of us run hot on sensory input, others stall out on transitions, some need movement to think, others need silence to function. The tricky part is that our needs are often invisible, even to ourselves, until something tips us over. This month at Neurospicy Bayside, we're slowing down to look at two questions: * What support do I actually need to feel okay and do my best work? * What might the people around me need that I've never thought to ask about? We'll talk about the kinds of accommodations that exist (formal and informal — at work, at home, in social spaces), share what's worked and what hasn't, and gently map out where each of us tends to struggle. The goal isn't to fix anyone. It's to build a richer vocabulary for our own needs and a more compassionate lens for the people in our lives who might be quietly white-knuckling things we'd never guess. Bring yourself as you are. Stim, doodle, pace, listen, share as much or as little as feels right. Fidgets and ear defenders welcome. There's no expectation to disclose anything you don't want to. Looking forward to seeing you there.

We invite everyone to **play around & find out\*** how much fun and solidarity comes from playing together at a table in a beautiful park. **Find out** how to play a co-operative board game with other absolute beginners. Prepare for the 2032 Olympic Board Games— you might join a team or cheer them on! All for free with nothing to bring. Earthborne Rangers (ER) excels with its initial simplicity and elegant depth. You explore a world with optimistic “solarpunk” themes as you work as a team to succeed together. It's like Dungeons & Dragons but a nice change from grim dungeon-crawling and disaster-fighting, and has more structure, less improvisation. Learn more about ER [here](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/342900/earthborne-rangers). Lifelong game designer Matthew Ford will teach absolute beginners. All materials are supplied for you to play. The first half gives you the general idea. After a short break you can continue into more depth for the next half. You will get invited to events for continued intermediate play — whether you want to go for the gold on our final team, or just squad up to improve each other. Nothing to bring or prepare. Come as you are, even if you know absolutely nothing about it. We welcome absolutely everyone and ensure a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. We've face-to-face taught games to over 1000 people of every kind-- join us! We will never cancel due to weather-- we have a rain shelter! Prepare for heat but we will have a sun shade set up if it's sunny and hot. RSVP to this event to hear about any changes to the directions or times. Find us outside at a **park bench near the Centenary Aquatic Centre** in Spring Hill: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/zoedZcCZ2TiWJoeC9](https://maps.app.goo.gl/zoedZcCZ2TiWJoeC9) . More advanced play will be centered at Ibis Island-- come to this event to get access to other events that guide you there later. I will be there, or at least as close to our spot as possible, **regardless of any conditions of any kind**. \ *Bonus info for all who care: As stadium developers approach Ibis Island, the heart of Victoria Park, they will find out how much our community values this special place. Two promise-breaking Olympic stadiums are slated to be built in Victoria Park, threatening Ibis Island and our gaming community. Let's help them find out** why they had better leave that spot untouched. Our weekly event series is a spark. Join us so we can all build a fire. PAFO is not run by [www.savevictoriapark.com](www.savevictoriapark.com) but that's a good way to learn more. Hey stadium developers, here we are! Play Around and Find Out! :)
