The Smith Street Band & Signals Midwest (USA) hit the Barwon Club in Geelong for a special 'More like Signals Midbest Weekender’ show Sunday 24th May, 2026. Signals Midwest are heading back to Australia this May to tour with Luca Brasi, they’ll also be teaming up once again with The Smith Street Band for two special shows in Belgrave & Geelong. The Smith Street Band & Signals Midwest first met in 2012 in a bottle shop around the corner from 222 Ormsby - a small venue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Smith Street Band were about to play a show with Max Sterns other band, Meridian. Over the following 14 years, both bands have toured America together, hung out in Europe & in 2018 Signals Midwest played at The Smith Street Bands festival Pool House Party at Coburg Velodrome. In 2013, Wil Wagner released the solo song ‘More Like Signals Midbest’ on his Laika album. Tickets $45+b/f / Door $55 Doors 7:00pm www.thesmithstreetband.com

Drawing from folk and jazz influences, she has her own unique sound - creating cosy and layered sonic landscapes for audiences to bathe in. Join her on the 13th of May for the launch of her new single 'Love Buffet'. The evening will also feature local artists, Lena Douglas and Imogen Cygler.
