SOY are a six-piece rock band based in Newcastle, NSW, blending psych textures with punk energy into chaotic, immersive live shows that have become their trademark.Formed in 2016, SOY went on to establish New Brain Communications — a DIY label created alongside bandmates from FUNGAS — contributing to Newcastle’s underground music community through releases and live events.SOY have supported the likes of ORB and The Murlocs, and shared festival stages with acts such as TNSW and DMA’s across NSW and the east coast.Their upcoming LP marks a new chapter, following recent singles “Expired Plead” and “The Other End”, which hint at a more refined and expansive direction for the band. After some time away, SOY are set to return to Victoria, bringing a fresh batch of material to town.

Welcome to The Noosh! The creative chaos gameshow where performers of all genres test their freshest work and battle it out for Nooshy glory. You too (yes you dear audience member!) also have the chance to play some games and win prizes whilst supporting your local artist flex their creative muscles. So grab your friends, pop in your pocket the willingness to get a little weird and head down to Fun Time Pony for the best mid week dopamine hit. Doors open 6pm, show 7-9pm Sign ups to perfom at Noosh shows are now open! If you want to throw your hat in the ring to test new performance work check out our Instagram @the.noosh.show for how to join us on stage. NB: Fun Time Pony is an underground venue with elevator access, seating is first in best dressed and the show is fast, loud and packs out the venue early. We are happy to reserve seating for patrons who are wheelchair/mobility aid users or with accessibility needs, so please email us at thenooshshow@gmail.com at the time of purchasing your tickets to arrange.
