Smoke School is a hands-on 4-hour BBQ class experience simplified into practical, repeatable methods you can recreate at home.Led by award-winning competition pitmaster, Ross Walker of Firehouse Barbecue, this class covers every stage of the cook from trimming, seasoning and fire management through to smoking, moisture retention techniques, resting and serving.The smokers used in the class include Weber Kettles, Drum Smokers and Bullet Smokers: versatile and highly accessible setups that are perfect for backyard cooks getting started in low ‘n’ slow barbecue.This is a fully interactive class with real fires, real smoke and real cooking. Designed for every learning style, participants can get involved as much as they want or if you prefer, stand back sippin' beers from the bar. ?? He has delivered 40+ BBQ classes across Melbourne and recognised for making american style low 'n' slow barbecue approachable for everyday backyard cooks. His practical, step-by-step teaching style focuses on techniques that are realistic, repeatable and easy to apply at home, with no prior experience required! Cancellation Policy Sometimes classes need to be moved or cancelled. If that happens, we'll let you know straight away. If the session is shifted to a new date, your booking will roll over automatically. If a class is fully cancelled, you'll receive a full refund. In rare situations outside our control, a $25 admin fee may apply. If you need to withdraw, please notify us more than 21 business days before the class and we'll provide a full credit to use at another session. Withdrawals made inside 21 business days of the class are non-refundable and cannot be credited.
