Have you been looking for a book club that doesn't require you to read a specific book or participate in a formal discussion? Look no further than The Silent Book Club, a global movement that has taken root in our community. Join us for an afternoon of quiet reading in the company of friends and peers. Here's what to expect: On the last Sunday of every month, we'll gather to read at the Vic Park Community Space (enter via Miller St, Victoria Park) ! At 2 pm, join us to chat with other readers about what you're currently reading and books in general. If you arrive before 2pm, feel free to grab a coffee from the nearby café (Modus is around the corner on Albany Hwy) From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, we'll observe an hour of silence as we read our books together. To signal the end of the reading session, a 60-minute timer will be set. At 3:30 pm, you're welcome to leave or stay and socialise with fellow book lovers.
