SELECTOR DJ COMP - FREE ENTRY Brisbane’s DJ's this is your moment. SELECTOR is The Brightside’s new DJ competition designed to uncover the city’s best crowd-moving selectors, with $5,000 cash up for grabs. Across a series of heat nights starting Wednesday May 6th, DJs will each take over the decks for a 20-minute set each. There are no genre rules, house, hip hop, drum & bass, techno, disco, pop edits, throwbacks, metal remixes… anything goes. If you can win over the room, you’re in with a shot. The heats are decided by crowd votes. At least 1 Dj from every heat will go through to the final. Crowd support matters, so round up the crew. The top performers from each heat will advance to the Grand Final at Brightside Outdoors, where the stakes get higher. The winner will be decided by a combined vote - 50% judges panel and 50% crowd vote. One DJ will take home $5,000 cash and the title of SELECTOR. No genre limits. No rules on style. Welcome to The Noosh! The creative chaos gameshow where performers of all genres test their freshest work and battle it out for Nooshy glory. You too (yes you dear audience member!) also have the chance to play some games and win prizes whilst supporting your local artist flex their creative muscles. So grab your friends, pop in your pocket the willingness to get a little weird and head down to Fun Time Pony for the best mid week dopamine hit. Doors open 6pm, show 7-9pm Sign ups to perfom at Noosh shows are now open! If you want to throw your hat in the ring to test new performance work check out our Instagram @the.noosh.show for how to join us on stage. NB: Fun Time Pony is an underground venue with elevator access, seating is first in best dressed and the show is fast, loud and packs out the venue early. We are happy to reserve seating for patrons who are wheelchair/mobility aid users or with accessibility needs, so please email us at thenooshshow@gmail.com at the time of purchasing your tickets to arrange.
