Hi Adelaide Pythonistas, I am excited to announce May 2026 meeting!! A whirlwind tour of the array of tools for robotics development available in Python, from MicroPython to the Robot Operating System (ROS) to autonomous mapping and navigation with Nav2 and SLAM. Best of all, many of these tools can run in simulated environments without real hardware, enabling you to follow along at home! Speaker: **Cleo Kent** **:** Cleo Kent is currently in her final year of studying computer science at Adelaide University. She is currently the Adelaide Rover Team’s software lead, developing a semi-autonomous lunar rover to compete in the Australian Rover Challenge.
