Known for its high-energy dancefloor and strong sense of community, it brings together people from all backgrounds to experience the vibrant spirit of Brazil.</p><p>For this special edition, we’re bringing the essence of Furacão 2000 to Brisbane. If you’ve never heard of it, Furacão 2000 is a legendary brand from Rio de Janeiro that helped shape and popularise <b>Brazilian funk (also known as Baile Funk)</b>. It started in the 1970s as a sound system and became famous for hosting massive dance parties in the favelas, with powerful beats, MCs, and an electrifying crowd. Expect heavy bass, raw energy, and a sound that defines a huge part of Brazilian nightlife culture.</p><p>This edition will take over The Wickham, one of Brisbane’s most iconic LGBTQIA+ venues — the perfect setting for a night like this.</p><p>Line-up: DJ Ju Castro, DJ Vick Fontes, DJ Felipe Leite, and DJ Léozzy — bringing the heat from start to finish.</p>
