You are required to attend ONE session. Presented by the Nursing & Midwifery Education Unit, Grampians Health This program is specifically designed for Registered & Enrolled Nurses, Midwives, & Radiology staff who are required to perform peripheral intravenous cannulation (PIVC) as part of their clinical duties. Participants will gain the essential knowledge & practical skills to safely & effectively perform PIVC in a clinical setting. To successfully undertake the program, participants need to ensure they can complete the practical component of five supervised cannulations in their workplace within six months of attending the workshop. Participants are required to complete the Peripheral Cannulation e-learning modules via the Grampians Learning Hub, prior to attending. Staff external to the Grampians Region will be required to complete a PDF version of the modules. Please bring your certificate of completion to the workshop. The PDF document will be emailed tot he address given on registration. Resources will be provided. No Catering - please bring own food and drinks.
