<p>Explore Newstead House, Brisbane's oldest domestic dwelling, built in 1846 for Patrick Leslie. This historic site showcases its transformation from a Colonial Georgian cottage into a quintessential homestead. Enjoy a self-guided tour from 10 am to 2 pm to uncover its rich history and architectural evolution. A unique opportunity to experience one of Brisbane's most iconic heritage locations.</p><p> </p><p><b>ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION</b></p><p>The house route has stairs to the front door and ground floor cellar, with a lift for accessibility if needed.</p><p><b>HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION</b></p><p>Food and drinks are not permitted in the house but can be consumed in the park precinct or on the veranda. Dogs are not permitted within the house unless they are identified as an assistance animal.</p><p>Smoking is prohibited in the house and within four metres of the building.</p><p><b>CONCESSION</b></p><p>You must present your concession card at entry to receive discount, otherwise full price will be charged.</p>
