Midwinter is upon us, a time belonging to the dark when souls don't sleep. To celebrate, three of the best contemporary bands in the realm of Goth, Gothic Rock and Post-punk are delivering a Midwinters feast of audible delights. Hot off co-headlining the MONA stage together during Dark Mofo 2026, the Chvrch of Mankind (TAS) and Blood in the Champagne are joined by One Whole Hand. Mankind, a duo consisting of Dan on bass and TJ on percussion, bring big beats, melodic bass and dark lyrics to the fore to create a hypnotic Gothic rock sound. Think: Type O vs Jane's Addiction. Blood in the Champagne are a dark wave/post punk band of rebels who make musical art for social evolution. Think: Siouxsie vs New Order One Whole Hand bring the industrial and theatrical edge with buzzsaw synths and crunching riffs. Think: if Madonna Wayne Gacy had a side project.
