Kayak, paddle board, walk, photography or just sit in the shade and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and good company. Bring your own morning tea / lunch. There is a great bakery with coffee at the Kurwongba shops about 2 K's down the road toward Petrie.. BYO kayak or borrow one of ours. - I am happy to lend my Kayaks if anyone wishes to give it a try. There are shade sheds, tables and a toilet. Lake Kurwongbah (Mick Hanfling Park) is accessed from Torrens Road which runs west from Narangba Road between Anzac Avenue and Dakabin. After entering the park take the road to the left and go to the end.. There is plenty of parking.
