After three years travelling and performing overseas, <strong>Taiwanese-Australian indie-folk songstress Kim Yang is back in Australia </strong>to tour her debut studio album <strong>‘Turn On The Lights’</strong> (??)<br><br>Produced by <strong>Louis Montgomery (SAFIA, Peking Duk, Lucy Sugarman, Cathy Diver)</strong> and mastered by <strong>Joseph Cárra (The Teskey Brothers, Courtney Barnett, Hiatus Kaiyote)</strong> ‘Turn On The Lights’ is a collection of bilingual songs that explore Kim’s thoughts on identity, purpose, fear and anxiety. The essence of the album is Kim’s journey from self-doubt, to self-discovery, to self-acceptance. The full album release follows the launch of the first two singles off the album <strong>‘All Good When I’m With You’ and ‘Forever this way’</strong>, Kim’s biggest releases to date.<br><br>Since 2019 Kim has been a regular on the Australian music scene, releasing two EPs and earning nominations for national awards.
