Holly Rankin is an Australian artist and producer best known by her musical nom de plume, Jack River. More than just a successful musician, Rankin is a writer, entrepreneur and promoter, starting Grow Your Own Festival in her hometown of Forster promoting local and sustainable culture and advocating for more local music in advertising with a viral social media campaign resulting in Our Soundtrack Our Stories. With over 100 million streams, a Platinum, and multiple Gold singles, Jack River is a force to be reckoned with. Her debut album Sugar Mountain earned 3 x ARIA Award nominations, including Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Best Pop Release and Engineer of the Year, an AIRA nomination for Best Independent Pop Album, and saw Holly nominated for Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year at the APRA Awards. Her latest record Endless Summer sounds like a beach holiday while the world burns. Ten perfect pop songs that shimmer like melting highways and drip like strawberry ice-cream. Welcome to The Noosh! The creative chaos gameshow where performers of all genres test their freshest work and battle it out for Nooshy glory. You too (yes you dear audience member!) also have the chance to play some games and win prizes whilst supporting your local artist flex their creative muscles. So grab your friends, pop in your pocket the willingness to get a little weird and head down to Fun Time Pony for the best mid week dopamine hit. Doors open 6pm, show 7-9pm Sign ups to perfom at Noosh shows are now open! If you want to throw your hat in the ring to test new performance work check out our Instagram @the.noosh.show for how to join us on stage. NB: Fun Time Pony is an underground venue with elevator access, seating is first in best dressed and the show is fast, loud and packs out the venue early. We are happy to reserve seating for patrons who are wheelchair/mobility aid users or with accessibility needs, so please email us at thenooshshow@gmail.com at the time of purchasing your tickets to arrange.
