Mochi: A Beloved Tradition in Japanese Family Life You'll watch fresh mochi being cooked right before your eyes with our mochi machine. Then enjoy rolling the warm mochi into balls and tasting it wrapped in nori, dipped in sweet bean, sweet soybean powder, or sweet sesame sauce. Also in Ozoni, comforting Japanese family mochi soups. Come and enjoy these simple and delicious traditional recipes, loved by families and enjoyed across generations. 🍡✨

ON EVERY MONDAY EVENING: Meeting at 6.15pm Sharp outside the Peter's By The Sea Greek Restaurant (50 metres north of Rendezvous Observation City Hotel) in Scarborough on the Scarborough cappuccino strip, next to the car park on the sea side of Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. Start walking at 6.30pm Sharp on the footpath north to Mettams Pool & return to Scarborough for optional Dinner/Drinks/Coffees. Please park 100 metres north of the Restaurant in front of Observation Rise Apartments. Distance = 3km each way = 6kms total. Walk will be at an Easy pace. Please wear good walking shoes & bring water, jacket & torch. Walk is still on if raining - if so, Please bring rain coat. Several other walkers from my other walking club will also be joining us. Cost: Absolutely FREE to all. All welcome. CHILDREN SUPERVISED BY ADULTS AT ALL TIMES ARE MOST WELCOME!!!
