Date: Tuesday 12th May at 7:00am. Starting Point: Grinstead Park Alderley. Distance: Approx. 40 kms return. Time: Allow 3 1/2 hours for the ride and the coffee break. Speed: Easy pace 17 to 20 kmh. We will adjust the speed to suit the group. Terrain: A few hills cycling on bike paths, shared paths, and back roads. **Route:** We’ll depart from Grinstead Park in Alderley and follow the Kedron Brook Bikeway out to Ferny Grove Rail Station. From there, we’ll use local back streets to connect with the Rail Trail and continue onto Samford. The return trip will follow the same route back to Grinstead Park. **Wet Weather:** If conditions aren’t suitable for riding, an update will be posted 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time. **Personal Responsibility:** Sunday Cycling is an informal social group, not a registered association or official cycling club. We do not provide, hold, or operate under any form of public liability insurance. We are simply a group of individuals choosing to enjoy cycling activities together. Cycling involves inherent risks, especially when riding in traffic or shared spaces with pedestrians. By participating, you acknowledge that you—and any guest you bring—may be exposed to the possibility of injury, loss, or damage, whether caused by yourself or others. You are responsible for taking reasonable care to protect your own safety and the safety of those around you. Our event organisers and group leaders are volunteers and do not present themselves as experts. While care is taken when planning each activity, it is your responsibility to read all event information before registering. By attending any Sunday Cycling event, you and any guest you invite accept that the organisers and group leaders cannot be held liable for any accident, injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation. You also agree to comply with all applicable road rules throughout the ride. By taking part in any cycling event, you acknowledge and accept the personal responsibility conditions outlined above.
