This great day walk takes us from Engadine station through the northern section of the Royal National Park, down Kangaroo Creek Track crossing Kangaroo Creek Pools with a (200M) descend down to the Audley Visitor Centre & Cafe where we have lunch along the Hacking River, before a (100M) ascent with a side trip to Winifred Falls. We then explore our way through forest tracks to Bundeena where we catch the 5pm ferry to Cronulla Station. Last ferry departure at 7pm. TRANSPORT: 9:12am train from Central Station Platform 25, arriving at Engadine Station at 9:59am (check Opal Trip Planner for updates). BRING: 3 litres of water, hydralyte tablets, snacks, lunch, sun protection, first aid kit, Bushmans Repellant, rain gear, hiking shoes.
