Casey Amber: “THE WORLD KEEPS SPINNING AND I DON’T KNOW WHY” is driven by deep lyricism relevant to our corporate society; Casey Amber discusses r*pe and women’s rights in “THE BEAR” along with “WHEN IM GONE” that touches on suicide. Amber’s diary entry like music evaporates the normal - brining electronic instruments and honesty to the Adelaide scene. Abbey Amber: Abbey Amber presents her handcrafted etheral acoustic tunes, layered by looping of alternative indie 'forest folk' music. With a focus on storytelling and imagery, her introspective songs weave tales that evoke nostalgia and a sense of vulerability. Emerauld: Emerauld, a 20 year old indie folk/rock artist from regional Adelaide, is best known for her radically honest lyrics and powerhouse vocals. Leaving no space for subtlety, their songs unravel what it’s like to grow up queer in today’s age. Inspired by Big Thief, Daffo, and Pinegrove, her music moves through themes of self worth, getting comfortable in the uncomfortable and the strangeness of growing into yourself. With an eclectic style that intertwines every messy, tender moment they have lived, Emerauld’s music is unmistakingly their own. Cheleigh: As the self-proclaimed love-child of Gretta Ray and Maisie Peters, Cheleigh is a 22-year-old indie pop daydreamer living on Kaurna Country. After years of hoarding melodies, Cheleigh is finally ready to tell the world exactly how she has been feeling; and she might just be your next favourite oversharer.
