We've lined up a stellar roster of your fave local artists and some exciting new talents breezing through town! This week Sol Hopkins, Adam Hattaway and Paper Daisies are stopping by for a show. On one hand Sol Hopkins is a scholar of classic pop music, crafting songs with a reverence for the Bacharachs, Webbs, and McCartneys of the past. On the other hand, he is a disciple of folky, Australianic, DIY jangle music. It’s where these two threads meet that the kaleidoscopic pop tapestry of Sol’s music is woven. His debut album will be released later this year on the back of singles 'Graduate' and 'The Horse'. Cutting deep with raw soul, grit, and rock ’n’ roll charm. Known for turning heartbreak into a howl, they’re dialing it down—but not backing off. This is live music with teeth, up close and personal. Adam Hattaway hails from Christchurch, New Zealand. Travelling Australia and NZ, sharing songs from his surprisingly extensive discography. Paper Daisies are an alt/dream folk band playing on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Land. Our songs explore place, change, love and the disorienting bittersweetness of being alive. Social Sanctuary is proud to be sponsored by Mountain Goat.
