Sydney post-punk outfit Bennetts Grove are set to make their Melbourne debut at The Espy’s Basement, bringing their brooding, atmospheric sound to a new stage.Known for sharp storytelling and tense, driving arrangements, the band will showcase their latest single “Out in the Cold” — a dark, narrative piece tracing the mental unravelling of a paranoid man lost deep within a forest. Haunting, immersive, and emotionally charged, the track captures the band’s distinctive take on modern post-punk, blending urgency with mood.Joining Bennetts Grove on the night are a strong lineup of local supports: Uglieboy / Naarm (Main support), Stockholm / Naarm (support), and The Engine / Eora (opener), each bringing their own energy and edge to round out the bill. This first Melbourne appearance marks a key step for Bennetts Grove as they showcase their highly anticipated new single “Out in the Cold” at The Espy and continue to build momentum beyond Sydney.
