**Welcome to Badminton Social (羽球匯友) Meetup!** Join us for regular badminton, social meetups, and a great time on the court around Caulfield. Let's build a welcoming badminton community and make some amazing memories together! Whether you are a beginner or a pro, this event is perfect for anyone looking to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy some friendly plays. Our group is made up of both local and international members, creating a diverse and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to join in. Not only will you have the chance to improve your Badminton skills and stay fit, but you'll also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for healthy living and staying active. Come and be a part of our community in Melbourne, where friendships are made on and off the court. **Details as below:** When: 16 May, this Saturday Time: 5pm - 6.30pm Where: Monash Sport Caulfield (1-min walk from Caulfield Station / free parking around the Station) Fee: $12 per head (PayID to the organizer) *#Limited spots - first come first served (RSVP)* *#Please bring your own racket(s); or you can rent it from the Centre (if needed)* ***#Please kindly update your RSVP as soon as possible if you need to cancel, so hopefully others can still get a spot to join. We invite everyone to **play around & find out\*** how much fun and solidarity comes from playing together at a table in a beautiful park. **Find out** how to play a co-operative board game with other absolute beginners. Prepare for the 2032 Olympic Board Games— you might join a team or cheer them on! All for free with nothing to bring. Earthborne Rangers (ER) excels with its initial simplicity and elegant depth. You explore a world with optimistic “solarpunk” themes as you work as a team to succeed together. It's like Dungeons & Dragons but a nice change from grim dungeon-crawling and disaster-fighting, and has more structure, less improvisation. All materials are supplied for you to play. The first half gives you the general idea. After a short break you can continue into more depth for the next half. You will get invited to events for continued intermediate play — whether you want to go for the gold on our final team, or just squad up to improve each other. Nothing to bring or prepare. Come as you are, even if you know absolutely nothing about it. We welcome absolutely everyone and ensure a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. We've face-to-face taught games to over 1000 people of every kind-- join us! We will never cancel due to weather-- we have a rain shelter! Prepare for heat but we will have a sun shade set up if it's sunny and hot. RSVP to this event to hear about any changes to the directions or times. Two promise-breaking Olympic stadiums are slated to be built in Victoria Park, threatening Ibis Island and our gaming community.
