**Building a future we actually want to live in.** While there are plenty of online spaces, there’s something different about meeting in person, especially when it’s led by us. We are hosting an open meeting for the Autistic community, (diagnosed or not) including professionals and those navigating the complexities of the current system, to gather, share, and look forward. Why join us? The landscape of support and the NDIS can feel incredibly heavy right now. This is a space to acknowledge that weight, but also to find genuine hope. We’ll be discussing the Autistic Haus mission: creating housing designed by us, for us, with a focus on sensory ease and true autonomy. But more importantly, we want to hear from you. What are your non-negotiables for a home? What are the access needs that the current systems ignore? How can we collectively build something that lasts? Vibe Casual, low-pressure, and community-focused. Whether you want to dive deep into systemic analysis and infrastructure or just sit quietly and listen while we talk about housing models, you are welcome. Where to find us We will be at the Roma Street Parklands (Meanjin Brisbane). Look for us in the area by the restaurant and the accessible toilets. We’ll have a small sign to make us easy to spot! What to bring Your own snacks/drinks. Your thoughts, your vents, and your ideas for a neuro-inclusive future. Of course any supports or accommodations you need eg support workers/carers welcome We're a registered startup charity, for more info or to make a donation see [https://autistic-haus.org.au/](https://autistic-haus.org.au/)
