Get yourselves ready to quench your thirst for experiencing the most flavourful and exciting emerging and rising act in Australian music with another night of Freshly Squeezed Sessions. This session includes three incredible Melbourne based musicians whose music sits across variations of indie-rock and alternative pop-rock. These three will blow you away guaranteeing you for a night that will tingle your taste buds and leave you wanting more once it's over. FEATURING: KAYTYLN JOHNSHONKaytlyn Johnson is small-town songbird commanding big dreams, entrancing indie-pop audiences across Melbourne and beyond. Her music is a bucket, collecting you within an ocean of her stories, transporting you to her hardest times, deepest fears and most desperate desires. You will swirl within a fusion of folk, pop and rock whilst keeping lyrical intricacies and poetry at the forefront of Kaytlyn’s sound. As a young Palawa woman, Kaytlyn is inspired to write about her identity, her hardship and her painfully passionate approach toward her ambitions. Before having released any music, Kaytlyn had already performed with GRAMMY® award winning artist Lucky Oceans and opened for Australian pop-icon Thelma Plum. Kaytlyn has now completed her first headline tour and is preparing for her debut EP release in 2026. THE PEPPERMINTS‘The Peppermints’ are a Naarm-based duo and band of Eden Beveridge-Wood and Monika Jurisic. Bringing their own tastes and styles together, they create a new sound that reflects the best of both their worlds, bringing life to music they never could have made on their own. Influenced by those like Alanis Morrisette, they create haunting yet powerful sounds that tip the world on its axis. In April 2025, they released their first single “Make It Ugly”, inspired by a common relationship experience of Monika and Eden’s. It explores emotional conflict in heartbreak, the introspective lyrics weaving a complex story of relief and shame. As they work together with their band, composed of Bryn Martin, Nicholas Costa, and Miles Rothe, they have become a powerful indie-rock group, continuing to write together about their lives and the world into 2026. ARIA MONETAria Monet is a pop-rock force of nature, here to shatter the mould and crank up the volume. With crunchy guitar and powerhouse vocals, her sound is a riot of rebellious anthems and infectious hooks. Inspired by pop and punk rock trailblazers like Paramore and Kelly Clarkson, Aria’s music is bold, brash, queer, and totally addictive. Expect raw energy, razor-sharp lyrics, and enough attitude to light up the stage - and leave you wanting more. About The Sessions: These sessions are designed for audiences to expect catchy tunes, discover your next fave artists, make new friends and to dance your heart out as you get swept away by the musicians on the lineup. Each lineup is specially crafted and curated, truly handpicked and squeezed! Whether you're in the crowd or playing on the stage during a session you can and will have one fresh, vibrant and juicy (and of course fun) live music experience.
