Secular Community Mindfulness & Meditation Circle

Secular Community Mindfulness & Meditation Circle FREE (Donations gratefully accepted to help pay for venue and teacher's time) Looking for a regular opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and practice mindfulness in a supportive community? Join us for a weekly mindfulness and meditation circle where people of all experience levels and varying beliefs are welcome. Whether you're completely new to meditation, returning after a break, or looking for ongoing support in your practice, this group provides a relaxed and welcoming space to learn and grow together. Each session includes guided meditation, mindfulness exercises, discussion, and practical tools that can help you navigate everyday life with greater calm, clarity, and resilience. Rather than a formal course with a fixed start and finish date, this is an ongoing community group that people can join at any time. Sessions draw from an 8-week Mindfulness 101 curriculum, with topics rotating throughout the year. This means you'll continually encounter fresh opportunities to deepen your understanding and strengthen your practice, regardless of when you begin. Topics include: • Mindfulness fundamentals • Meditation techniques • Stress and anxiety management • Working with difficult thoughts and emotions • Self-compassion and acceptance • Values and purposeful living • Mindful communication and relationships • Bringing mindfulness into daily life No previous experience is necessary. Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to practice. About the Facilitator Jeremy West is a mindfulness teacher with over 15 years of mindfulness study and practice and more than 5 years of teaching experience. He currently teaches the Mindfulness 101 course at in Lismore. Drawing on his background in mindfulness, psychology, communications, and coaching, Jeremy is passionate about helping people cultivate greater awareness, resilience, and wellbeing. His teaching style is practical, down-to-earth, and focused on helping participants apply mindfulness in real-world situations. Come as you are. Stay for the meditation, the learning, and the community.
