**Meditation and Self-Awareness** This is a guided meditation in an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion. Emphasis is placed on aligning yourself to the potential of your Awareness / True Nature and embracing your humanness with acceptance and compassion. It's about learning how to get into the drivers seat of your life as your own loving and wise gaurdian. Those who come regularly achieve emotional healing, balance, and increasing self-awareness and self-mastery. After the meditation, I give some guidance on self-awareness and facilitate discussion around the various topics that arise. If you are wanting to go deeper, I am here to help you journey deeper into self-realisation and empowerment in the pursuit of enlightenment and maximising your potential. Inner Harmony Meditation is a nurturing and insightful open group held on a weekly basis that can be attended whenever you like. Just wear comfortable clothes. We ask each participant to contribute at least $5 to help cover the rent. If you have the means, feel free to contribute $20 for each class to help support the work, which includes me being able to offer counselling/coaching clients a discount rate when needed, or more if you like, or less if you can't. (Cash or PayID) https://innerharmony.com.au/ Peace and Harmony. Phil Golding

Join us for our 2 hours weekly relaxation and meditation session. Our practice: 1. We begin with 5 minutes sittings quietly, eyes closed, adjusting to quiet stillness, to let the mind relax and to let go of the busy day, week, year you have had. 2. Then recite together Affirming Faith in Mind. 3. Peter offers an encouraging talk on aspects of our practice. 4. Then lights go down, we spread our yoga mat on the carpeted floor, and are guided into a deep relaxation – Yoga Nidra, body scan, deep relaxation. 5. With our mind now relaxed and cleared of the day’s activities, we begin with walking practice. 6. Then 20 minutes seated meditation. We repeat this sequence and finish with some chanting together from the books provided. How to find us: Enter Our Lady Star of the Sea Primary School from Kiora Road, pass carpark bays, enter the first building on your left. We are in the second room on your right. Don’t miss out on these free, casual meditation classes! The meditation classes cater for people of all experience levels and are run in a relaxed environment. No stretches or physical exercises are involved in learning this simple yet effective technique. **Effortless Meditation** The word ‘Sahaja’ can be translated as ‘Spontaneous’ or ‘Simple’, and is at the outset a hypothesis that meditation can come easily for those who are willing to practice regularly (even briefly each day). Sahaja Yoga defines meditation as ‘thoughtless awareness’, a state where you are completely conscious but at the same time completely without thought. In this state, we gain a unique perspective and insight into the beauty of our own innate nature. Physical and mental health benefits have also been attributed to regular meditation practice through comprehensive Australian research (Learn more in the book ‘silence your mind’ or at www.beyondthemind.com). Sahaja Yoga meditation was founded by HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970, and is based on kundalini awakening. Shri Mataji felt that meditation is an essential part of our spiritual growth. She felt that because meditation is so essential, a free and simple method to achieve it must be made available for everyone. Sahaja Yoga is now practiced in over 52 countries worldwide.
