Community-based Trauma Support/Therapy Groups Not enough people have taken the initial steps for a group to start yet. We will need to meet for an Individual session before-hand so you are confident it is the right thing for you, and are able to tell me about things that would not be discussed in the group. I also need to assess that you will fit into the group who I have already met with. Again, the price is according to what you can pay between, $70-100. THE GROUP WILL BE CLOSED FOR A FEW WEEKS TO ALLOW THE STARTERS TO SETTLE, BUILD TRUST AND SAFETY. NEW MEMBERS MAY BE ACCEPTED AFTER the start :-) The group is for people who have experienced or witnessed any serious traumatic episode, including childhood abuse. You may have recurring memories, nightmares, sleep problems, anxiety, panic, depression, suicidal, guilt, self-doubt; general difficulty with concentration and coping with the after effects. Many people suffer alone in fear of not being believed, often not believed, or considered crazy, lazy or weak. You deserve better. The group of 5-8 people will provide: Understanding of your trauma’s impact on your life and on other people around you. Support from others who are having similar experiences coping with a traumatic episode. Exploration of ways to manage the difficulties you may still experience, ways to improve your life, relationships and to become comfortable with the trauma and its effects. Don’t miss out on these free, casual meditation classes! The meditation classes cater for people of all experience levels and are run in a relaxed environment. No stretches or physical exercises are involved in learning this simple yet effective technique. **Effortless Meditation** The word ‘Sahaja’ can be translated as ‘Spontaneous’ or ‘Simple’, and is at the outset a hypothesis that meditation can come easily for those who are willing to practice regularly (even briefly each day). Sahaja Yoga defines meditation as ‘thoughtless awareness’, a state where you are completely conscious but at the same time completely without thought. In this state, we gain a unique perspective and insight into the beauty of our own innate nature. Physical and mental health benefits have also been attributed to regular meditation practice through comprehensive Australian research (Learn more in the book ‘silence your mind’ or at www.beyondthemind.com). Sahaja Yoga meditation was founded by HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970, and is based on kundalini awakening. Shri Mataji felt that meditation is an essential part of our spiritual growth. Guided Meditation

**Welcome!** Please join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays for teachings and guided meditation at the Diamond Way Buddhist Centre in Perth. The guided meditation runs for a maximum of 30 minutes. If you are new, one of our friendly members will provide a brief overview of who we are and what we do, prior to the meditation. Our program is suitable for beginners and there is plenty of time for questions. Lots of free parking; meditation cushions and mats are provided. The regular program is free of charge. Free and volunteer-powered. In Earthborne Rangers you explore a world with optimistic “solarpunk” themes as you work as a team to succeed together. ER is like Dungeons & Dragons but a nice change from grim dungeon-crawling and disaster-fighting, and has more structure, less improvisation.
